What Does "100% Reserves" Actually Prove?

On a centralized exchange, your balance is just a row in a database

In the past, the only basis for proving your balance was backed by real assets was the exchange's own word. Proof of Reserves replaces that with proof anyone can independently verify, without accessing CoinUp's internal systems. A reserve ratio above 100% means full solvency, not partial coverage.
